THE FISHTAIL PROJECT is a fundraising initiative established in 2017 by
Kelley Solomon, the owner/designer of Aquinnah Jewelry, and her mother Claudia Marks.
Every waxed cotton bracelet is handmade in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Currently 20% of all Fishtail bracelets sold will be donated to the
National CMV Foundation.
WHAT IS CMV?
Congenital Cytomegalovirus, or CMV, is the most common viral infection,
and leading non-genetic cause of hearing loss, that infants are born with
in the United States. Every pregnant woman is at risk of acquiring CMV.
AND ONLY 9% OF WOMEN KNOW ABOUT IT.
CMV is common, serious and preventable.
